The South Hadley Family Center is a place where you and your child can play and meet others in your community and where we all receive support and affirmation in our roles as parents, grandparents and caregivers of all kinds.
JUNE SCHEDULE
Family Center Early Literacy Program begins!
Beginning on Monday, June 3rd the Family Center will be open Mondays and Tuesdays for special programming. This early literacy event will be held throughout the month for 8 additional playgroups with the center being closed on Wednesdays. Playgroup will still be drop in but with a more structured timeline of events. At circle time a story will be read with arts and crafts and activities to follow. Each family that participates in the literacy event will receive a book to take home!
Schedule:
9:30-10:15 open play
10:15-10:30 snack time
10:30-10:45 Circle and Story Time
10:45-11:15 Arts and crafts and activities
11:15-11:30 Clean up and Closing circle
OUR MISSION
The mission of the South Hadley Family Center is to provide a safe, nurturing, fun and welcoming learning environment for children age 5 and under and their caregivers. We fulfill this mission through weekly playgroups as well as by sponsoring speakers, discussion groups, social events and facilitating sharing of resources.
